This is a medically biased presentation looking at the field of functional electrical stimulation used in rehabilitation.    This will trace the processes required to take a medical machine into a practical clinical tool.

The presentation is by Dr Ben Heller who is a Medical Physicist at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.    Ben trained as an Engineer then went on to do a PhD in Bio Engineering at Strathclyde University; he joined the Royal Hallamshire in 1992 as a researcher in Medical Instrumentation.
