At 100 M in height and 380 M in diameter the Millennium Dome is the largest structure of its type in the world. Peter Miller was the Project Director for Watson Steel who were responsible for the supply and construction of the steelwork and cables. In this illustrated talk he describes how the fabrication and construction was carried out, with particular emphasis on the detailed planning and the attention to engineering details that is required in a large and complex project.
